Breaking the Cycle

People who suffer from obesity have self-esteem issues. People with low self-esteem tend to eat and thus become obese. How do we break this cycle?

RE: Breaking the Cycle

if that's the case, it sounds more like a psychological problem doesn't it?

RE: Breaking the Cycle

If this is just the reason for a person's obesity, then it may be much easier to "cure" since counseling may be all that's needed.

RE: Breaking the Cycle

The best way would be to identify were it starts. If its a self-esteem issue, then counseling would help.

RE: Breaking the Cycle

I think we should start with the obesity then low esteem issues. While people with low self esteem have a tendency to eat, not all of them do.
