Lynch syndrome

a lynch syndrome is quite a rare inherited condition that will increase the risk of colon cancer and other kind of cancers. lynch syndrome has that historically been known for hereditary nonpolyposis colorectal cancer. a number kind of inherited syndromes may increase the risk of colon cancer, but lynch syndrome is quite common. those people with lynch syndrome will experience a colon cancer that happens at a very early age especially before the age of 45. if you have a family history of colon cancer that will occur at a young age can also be a symptom.

lynch syndrome will definitely runs in the families in an autosomal dominant inheritance pattern. this actually means that if one of your parent carries a gene mutation for a lynch syndrome. colon cancer is associated with lynch syndrome that is treated similarly to the other types of the colon cancer. you may undergo a colon cancer screening wherein a colonoscopy exam will allow the doctor to see inside of the entire colon and will look for some areas of abnormal growth that may indicate cancer.
