#getupandmove challenge

We live in a world of instant gratification. We want to see results NOW! When it comes to excercise, counting those pounds sometimes becomes discouraging and hence people fall off the bandwagon. We all know that getting a "work-out" buddy helps you get up in the morning and actually show up to the gym (wel most of the time). For some people, excercise is a religion and a way of life, for others its a chore.
I should not be preaching here, but i think the key here is motivation and encouragement but also altering the way we execute on the 30-60min in the gym. What if we do things spontaneously, what if we challenge each other, what if we use social media to accomplish our goals. Short, micro-workouts to challnge your mind and body. Well @jensmccabe came up with the answer:
"Losing weight" wasn't the answer; it was committing myself to the idea that
small acts of fitness, healthier microchoices made minute by minute -
the way I live the rest of this crazy startup life - might actually
have the power to add up and help me get back into my favorite pair of
jeans. "
Follow @contagionhealth on twitter and then go over to http://getupandmove.me to challnge yourself and others - just #getupandmove
